In this role, you will:
- This role will be responsible for Second Line of Defense Testing to ensure compliance within Consumer and Small Business Banking. Specifically, this role will evaluate our first line business partners adherence to deposit regulations as well as UDAAP requirements.
- Participate in less complex development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities companywide in alignment with the risk management framework
- Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies within Independent Testing
- Support and implement less complex initiatives with low to moderate risk and exercise independent judgment to guide risk reporting, escalation, and resolution
- Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in risk management framework and the risk and control environment
- Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners and management
- 2+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Intermediate knowledge and experience identifying and explaining UDAAP risk
- Prior Outcome Based testing experience
- Experience with Consumer Compliance
- Ability to perform a review independently from start to finish within the allotted time.
- Strong testing/audit background, including experience with workpapers documentation experience (e.g., walkthroughs, workbooks, sampling, reports etc.)
- Test the control performance against regulations, policies and standards and rate the control effective, weak or needs improvement.
- Lead and execute on complex projects, balancing short-term and long-term priorities
- Strong workpapers documentation experience, including walkthroughs, reports
- Strong communication and written skills
- Working knowledge of outcome/incremental regulatory and corporate policy testing.
