UCT has an immediate need for motivated and reliable candidates to add to our Assembler team! – Bristol, PA plant facility

We are looking for candidates who have strong attendance, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. If this sounds like you then we want to talk to you! You will be responsible for direct labor tasks and be expected to perform your role with a high focus on quality, safety, and productivity. Experience with basic hand tools and/or any type of production experience is a huge PLUS! Training is provided!

Schedule: Monday to Friday Shift hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Insert polyethylene disks (frits) into tubes
• Learn, use care and adjustment of simple powder filling device (trigger operated)
• Fill tubes with powder according to job order
• Inspect tubes for quality acceptance
• Label and package tubes for shipping
• Keep detailed records of production, inspection and shipments
• Cut polyethylene disks (frits) using due and hammer
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to perform work while seated for prolong periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must wear protective gear as provided and must go through safety training upon start.

Physical Environment: laboratory; Must be able to adjust to temperature controlled environment. Potential for exposure to hazardous chemicals does exist.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.55 per hour
