Elizabethtown Heating Cooling is a small and growing HVAC company located in Elizabethtown, PA We are looking to continue our growth by hiring an excellent team member that will help us maintain our success within the community.
We are looking for an HVAC Service Technician/Installer who is well organized, patient, and reliable professional. You must also be detail-oriented, responsible, and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection on a wide range of residential equipment
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment
- Perform warranty service and emergency repairs
- Assist on installation of new residential equipment
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Possess full HVAC skills such as: removal of old and installation of new equipment, duct repair/replacement, soldering, brazing, refrigerant leak detection, charging/recovering/reclaiming refrigerant, measuring system parameters (pressures, temperatures, etc.)
- Must be able to work independently and with co-workers
- Willing and able to take direction, complete tasks in timely and profitable manner
- Communicate any issues, concerns, or outstanding items to the office for scheduled follow-up
- Capable of diagnosing and explaining all problems and options to the client
- Always maintain a positive attitude with customers, fellow employees, and management
- Provide exceptional and respectable customer service to customers
- Maintain company specified tools, equipment, and organized inventory in your van
- Learn about the product we offer and be familiar with installation methods
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the jobsite or driving company vehicles
- Identify and immediately (first opportunity, but always within one hour) report any damage to the customer’s property
- Clean and clear the work area after the job has been completed
- Maintain and use the required personal protective equipment at all times
- Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies while driving
- Ability to lift and handle HVAC equipment in tight/awkward conditions
- Immediate (first opportunity, but always within one hour) reporting of all work-related injuries and vehicle accidents
- Prepare accurate paperwork
- Wear company logo attire at all times
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company policies
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years HVAC experience or completion of a certified HVAC program
- EPA 608 Certification Type I and Type II or Universal
- Strong communication skills
- Obtain licenses as required
- Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces
- Able to lift 75 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
