The Agnes Irwin School, an all-girls' Pre-K through 12th-grade independent school in the Philadelphia suburbs, is committed to fostering the intellectual and personal growth of girls and young women. Currently, The Agnes Irwin School is seeking a full-time experienced Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator. Responsibilities include:
- Processes semi-monthly payroll for all employees
- Manages pay exceptions, stipends and incentive payments, retroactive payments, error resolution and complex problem solving for payroll, and time management
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality relative to personal data, compensation data and employee benefits information.
- Ensures consistency and reliability with regards to information entered in the HRIS system.
- Processes various remittances – garnishments, 401K contributions, group insurance invoices
- Assist in managing insurance benefits and FMLA administration for employees (e.g., enrollment, mid-year modifications/terminations, problem resolution, legal compliance, record keeping)
- Facilitate employment-related activity:
On- and offboarding
Clearances
Record keeping/Personnel Files
Training compliance
- Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS
- Assist with third-party contractor clearance and mandated training compliance
Successful candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in processing payroll required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and working knowledge of HRIS
- Experience using Paycom is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all situations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals in potentially stressful situations
