Human Resources Coordinator
Job description
Under general supervision provides responsible human resources support to ensure effective and efficient Human Resources Department office operations. Applies federal and state laws, and city policies and procedures in assigned functions. Handles customer service issue resolution for employees and retirees. Prepares employee transactions for processing. Communicates programs and information to employees.

Must be physically able to operate small office or hand tools and a variety of automated office machines which includes a typewriter, computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, etc. Must be able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of ten to twenty pounds.
