- Reviews and analyzes engagement scores. In collaboration with People Leaders, develops and executes plans to increase engagement scores.
- Responds in a timely manner to assist team members with employment related questions including total rewards to include employee benefits, employment policies, leave of absence processes, and how to secure timely responses and actions from Grainger.
- Provides and encourages additional and/or alternative open communication link between team members and management.
- Assists leaders in performance management providing guidance for one-on-one documents, coaching and counseling documents, and calibration for performance reviews.
- Reviews and jointly owns monthly turnover data with People Leaders to identify any trends. Conducts exit interviews and recommends solutions to reduce turnover.
- Assists in the recruitment process by working closely with Recruiting team and leadership. Jointly owns recruitment effectiveness by identifying downstream recruitment needs, local recruitment opportunities and representing Imperial in each local market to increase brand recognition. Conducts new employee orientations.
- Collaborates with leadership to ensure new hire training plans are completed. Responsible for correctly entering and storing safety training data.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or Human Resources.
- 4-5 years HR experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
