General Summary:*
Night Shift Supervisor will supervise Night shift employees by keeping a quality control of their areas, by performing the essential duties of the position as discussed below.
*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.*
Will report to the Executive House Keeper, supervise staff of housekeepers by setting schedules, training, and ensuring quality work at all times.
Administrative duties include: email correspondence with corporate office, VA staff, VSC Security; filing; interview employee candidates and assist with filling out appropriate employment packages
Completing Quality Control Inspection forms daily. Must turn them in to Executive Housekeeper weekly.
Must start shift prior to night shift employees starting time to ensure all employees are present, Follow COVID safety measurements, take employees temperature etc.
Must end shift after all night shift employees have ended their shift and have clocked out. Supervisor must ensure all employees clock out before dismissing him/her self.
Ensure appropriate supply of materials on-hand at all times, may require periodic inventory of supplies, ordering of supplies, Safety Data Sheets available in all janitorial closets.
Ensure equipment are in proper working condition and are safe to operate, may require periodic inventory of equipment, turn in of equipment needing repairs
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.
Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mops floors.
Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms
Cleans fixtures, tops of windows, door frames and high areas using a ladder.
Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials.
Removes waste and soiled linens from work area and places in specified bags or containers.
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas
Available to work or fill in when someone is out and on call personnel are not available
Availability: Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- *Required Skills: Ability to read, write, understand and speak English at a level which enables the individual to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations will be provided whenever possible for employees with disabilities (i.e. hearing impaired, etc)
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (emails)
Maintain confidentiality of all company / employee records.
This job is mission essential personnel and will be needed to work as required.
Speak flaunt English and Spanish preferred

Working Conditions:*
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers; ability to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, and will frequently be required to spend at least 8 hours on their feet.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The employee will frequently be required to use the vacuum.
