JOB SUMMARY:
As Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to supervise the department 2 days a week, help with inspecting cleaned rooms for quality perform deep cleans, and perform regular daily claens as needed. This position will have day hours w/ great scheduling flexibility. If you have a great attention to detail, take pride in your cleaning, and be trustworthy, we invite you to apply!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect daily cleaning of the guest rooms, guest corridors, elevator foyer area, vending area, service areas including linen closets, staff restrooms and storage area to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests.
- Assist Executive Housekeeper with implementing and maintaining ongoing general cleaning programs.
- Assist with regular cleaning of rooms as needed.
- Request and follow-up on maintenance issues/problems with engineering department to protect hotel assets and ensure a safe, accident-free environment for guests and employees.
- Follow a detailed list of deep cleaning tasks and ensuring they are correctly documented.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping and procedures.
- Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers.
- Proficiently speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. Ability to speak other languages in a multicultural work environment can be extremely helpful in facilitating good communication among all hotel team members.
- Able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of employee relations and customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.

- Demonstrate genuine care for customers and team members.
