As a Hospice Chaplain, you will:

• Assess the spiritual/pastoral, bereavement and additional individual and/or group counseling needs
• Develop and implement individualized spiritual and bereavement plans of care in collaboration with local clergy and the interdisciplinary team
• Make visits and phone calls to patients and families
• Conduct religious ceremonies, bereavement support groups and educational programs
• Provide training for local clergy in bereavement support and end of life spiritual care

Qualifications are as follows:

• Ordained, commissioned or credentialed according to practices of an organized religious group pastor or religious leader
• Experience in bereavement counseling preferred
• 3 years experience in providing end of life spiritual care for patients families
