Meadowview of Clive, a brand-new senior community under construction in Clive, Iowa, has a wonderful opportunity for Caregivers (CNA, HHA, PCA, CMA, or TMA) to join our team. Meadowview of Clive will open in June 2023 and will have 106-units for residents including independent living, assisted living, and memory care options.

We’re looking for our foundational team for our brand new site! You will be one of the first Caregivers at Meadowview of Clive! By being one of the firsts, you’ll have near perfect attendance to your shifts, strong dedication, and great work ethic.

There are Full-Time and Part-Time (Evening and Overnight) benefit eligible positions available. Must be available weekends.

What does a Caregiver do?

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience.
• Med certified.
• Memory care or dementia experience.
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
