Job Title: Hiring a Qualified School Psychologist Near Lapeer, Michigan
Location: Near Lapeer, Michigan
We are seeking a qualified and experienced School Psychologist to join our team to serve at two school locations near Lapeer, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mental health and educational support to elementary students. This is a full time position with 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
- Evaluate and diagnose learning and behavioral difficulties
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Develop and implement behavior management plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and accommodations
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding student needs and interventions
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of school psychology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field
- MDE (Michigan Department of Education) credential as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary students
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
