Health Information Management (HIM) Scanning Specialist
Are you looking for a great entry level position at CMC? If so, the HIM department has a rare opening for their Scanning Specialist position. This position is responsible for assuring that health information and patient records are properly scanned, labeled, and available in the current electronic medical records (EMR) system. This position will also be responsible for responding to requests for patient records (both within the facility and external sources) by retrieving and transmitting them appropriately.
Competencies to perform this job include: Excellent customer service, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various employees throughout the facility.
The selected candidate would be able to choose between a Monday-Friday 8hr/day or Tuesday-Friday 10hr/day schedule. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience working in a medical records office.

Salary Range:
The wage scale for this position has been finalized for the facility including 26 steps and the selected candidate will be placed on the wage scale depending on years of experience.
