We are currently searching for a dynamic individual to become the Health Care Tech for our Circle Program. Responsibilities require: providing daily assistance to clients and assisting staff to complete tasks around their assigned unit and accommodate patient needs. This position is for the graveyard shift (12 midnight until 8:00 am)

All positions require pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist and provide support to conducts groups, using motivational interviewing skills.

Assures that all documentation is complete and follow established deadlines.

Assists in maintaining unit in an organized, clean and efficient manner.

Transports patients to and from appointments, support groups, employment searches, etc.

Maintains security of assigned unit in accordance with CTP policy and procedure.

Monitors patients and their activities. Accurately documents activities of each patient during assigned shift.

Responsible for reporting all patient infractions, concerns or problems to primary counselor or supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

The Certify Addiction Technician (CAT) must be completed in 18 months.

Experience:

Prefer prior experience working with mentally ill and substance use patients.

Other:

Able to communicate effectively. Must be able to follow directions.

CPR and first-aid certification. (Initial training and renewals paid for by agency).

Valid driver's license and insurability.

Basic computer skills are required.

Good driving record (must furnish a current unofficial DMV driving record upon hire).
