Pediatrics Northwest is looking for a part time, 24 hours a week, Healthcare Data Analyst.

The Healthcare Data Analyst collects and analyzes data to identify trends and provides leadership with valuable information that they can use to improve clinical, operational and businesses practices. With a focus on Population Health, the main duties of the Healthcare Data Analyst include identifying, gathering, analyzing data, and making their insights accessible through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports that support and guide the practice to achieve the mission of improving the health of child and families in our communities. As a subject matter expert, the Healthcare Data Analyst uses analytic skills to offer data-driven conclusions and recommendations to PNW Leadership through a lens of equity and inclusion.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Clinical Data Analyst collects, sorts, and analyzes data from the Electronic Medical Record and enters it into required databases.
  • Using data to achieve administrative needs and goals.
  • Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.
  • Investigating data to find patterns and trends.
  • Understanding healthcare business operations.
  • Utilizing different data sources for analysis.
  • Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand.
  • Developing reports and presentations.
  • Communicating analytic insights to leadership.
  • Organizing and transforming information into easy-to-understand graphs, tables and reports.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and reporting requirements.
  • Data analysis and report generation in support of internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Provide written reports to various stakeholders.
  • Manage the providers schedules and scheduling templates and software.

Education:

  • BS Degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or health related fields. Equivalent experience with an associate degree may be substituted.

Experience:

  • Two to five years' experience with quality/data management, analysis and report writing.
  • Experience with EMR software, EPIC preferred.
  • EPIC Certification preferred.

****Must reside in Washington state or willing to relocate
