Jacobs is seeking a Hardware/Fielding Engineer in Warrenton, Virginia!
Duties and Responsibilities of this role include:
- Implementing hardware in networks and telecommunications systems
- Conducting stress and performance tests on a variety of computer network hardware and software
- Resolving hardware and software network problems in a variety of Video Teleconferencing hardware and software systems
- Performing hardware maintenance such as board replacement, cable switching installation/replacement of peripherals
- Reporting metrics to reveal issues and take actions to correct

Here’s What You’ll Need:- TS/SCI
- At least 5 years of experience
- Experience with Microsoft software and tools, including Windows 10 and SharePoint portal and Project Management
- Experience working in DOD or Intelligence Community communications technology programs.
- Experience implementing hardware in networks and telecommunications systems.
- Experience in conducting stress and performance tests on a variety of computer network hardware and software.
- Knowledge of PC/LAN communications hardware and networks in a multi-protocol environment.
- Experience in resolving hardware, software, network problems in a variety of Video Teleconferencing hardware and software systems.
- Experience in resolving hardware, software, network problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software tools and techniques.
- Experience performing hardware maintenance such as board replacement, cable switching installation/replacement of peripherals.
- Knowledge and experience of lifecycle sustainment.
- Ability to move projects through the programs fielding process.
- Experiance in produceing Material Fielding Order and site acceptance memorandum throughout the fielding process.
- Ability to report metrics to reveal issues and take actions to correct.
