This position will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining service standards, cash control accountabilities and cleanliness of all associated areas including Activity Center, Movie Theatre, Arcade, Fitness Center, Pools and all outdoor amenities. This individual will be responsible for the successful execution of activities and events by consistently monitoring resort activity programs, special events and entertainment. This individual will work in multiple areas monitoring and providing exceptional customer service in the Arcade, Pools, Amenities, and Fitness Center. This position will perform room inspections throughout property as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Executing all resort activities and events.
  • Consistent cleaning of Activity Center, Arcade, Pools, Amenities including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, hosing of decks, pick up trash, sanitizing, window washing, scrubbing tiles, empty and re-bag trash bins.
  • Inspect pool areas daily, including but not limited to, test emergency pool phones, inspect all ladders, handrails, pool deck, floor grates, handicap lifts, first aid kits, life saving devices.
  • Enforcement of rules and regulations in all areas, including occupancy levels and full knowledge of 911 emergency procedures.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned, including room inspections.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

RECREATION:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with children and families
  • Experience in a theme park, parks and recreation, hospitality or resort environment are desired
  • Custodial experience preferred
  • Prior cash handling experience preferred

ACTIVITIES HOST:


  • This position will be responsible for providing interactive entertainment in the form of an Activities Host/ DJ. This position provides selected music and prescribed events while effectively communicating and promoting resort amenities, restaurants, retail shops, and golf courses. The position provides a fun, exciting environment that enhances the guest experience.

  • Runs events, plays music and communicates to all owners and guests the events, activities and special promotions happening within the activity and entertainment department as well as food and beverage, retail, golf, recreation, and other areas.
  • Plays the prescribed play list of approved music while managing and being responsive to guest needs and requests.

POOL ATTENDANT:

  • This position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of pool facilities, public areas and restrooms as well as engaging with guests to ensure a great vacation experience.

  • Consistently enforce all deck and pool safety rules in pool area and pool slides.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, patio furniture, exterior clubhouse patio areas, restrooms and other common areas of the pool deck in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Remove used guest pool towels from bins and replenish clean stock. Sweep walkways and other pathways to and from resort facilities. Pick up trash as found in common areas, empty trash containers, replace trash bags, as necessary.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Familiarity with water safety, CPR/AED certification a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Ability to follow procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks
  • Ability to be self-directed
  • Skill in attention to detail
  • Effectively communicate in English
  • Moderate decision-making is required under limited supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills and cash handling experience.
  • Must be able to communicate basic resort information to owners and guests.
