Our team, Complete Powertrain, sits within Powertrain function which is a part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology North America. Powertrain USA is an application center focused on delivering competitive products and services to the Volvo Group North America Business. Our product portfolio includes combustion engines, Exhaust After Treatment Systems (EATS), transmissions and axles as well as hybrid powertrains. We work close with GTT Electromobility, and together we develop fully electrified powertrains. Powertrain Engineering also includes Group Truck Technology's center of development and expertise for Hydrogen solutions.

What You Will be Doing
As The 13L VGT Powertrain Product Manager, you will become the product owner for the 13L VGT Powertrain Platforms and will lead a team of highly skilled engineers and project managers to constantly develop these platforms and the associated product streams to lead the industry.
This position requires the individual to function with minimal direction, assessing alternatives, rationalizing risk and making decisions all while relying on a depth of technical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of engineers and project managers who own the product and its application in North America.
- Working closely with the Chief Engineer to define and maintain future product strategies.
- Executing product roadmaps and projects according to the defined strategies and product streams.
- Working closely with the Technology Teams to ensure seamless introductions and that quality is maintained at the highest level.
- Knowing our customers and leading the organization to deliver creative solutions to their needs.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 8-12+ years of experience in heavy-duty powertrains
- Leadership experience as a manager with direct reports is preferred.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of the market and applications
