Job description

We are an Evangelical, Christian organization with a large and growing Outreach Ministry to At-Risk Kids in central Colorado Springs. We do this through our two Children's Centers, with about 50 staff and 300 children, ages 5-13yrs old.
This is a ministry staff position and applicants must have an active faith in Christ as well as a life pattern of involvement in their local church and ministry. (For more information and our statement of faith, you can find us on the web at Springsoflife.org.)
DETAILS

• $14 - $18/hr based on education/experience
• Starts training immediately
• Mon-Fri approx. 7:30am-4:30pm

COOK DUTIES

• Keep a prompt cooking and food service schedule
• Clean the kitchen
• Inventory & Stocking
• Food program required paperwork

SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM DUTIES

• Leading a School-Age group of 15 kids (Ages 5-13 years)
• Implementing center and state rules and regulations regarding school-age programs
• Ensuring a safe program environment for kids
• Being involved in, and inviting children to attend, ministry outreaches (AWANA, VBS, Ranch Camps, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)

• Previous Cooking Experience
• Previous Children's Center Experience
• Previous Ministry/Missions Experience
• Previous success working alone in a kitchen
