Row House is a rowing based group fitness studio that strives to give people of all different fitness levels an efficient, high-cardio, full-body workout in less than one hour. The Row House Coach will lead up to 25 participants through the Row House experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 25 clients

· Energize and motivate clients throughout exhilarating rowing sessions

· Build Row House class attendance and retaining retain current clientele

· Teach proper rowing technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience

· Ensure safety of clients in regards to rowing and exercise technique

· Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, including, but not limited to Row House University or any required continuing education

· Handle member concerns when applicable

· Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed

· Set up rowers and explain class format for prospects and new clients

· Maintain strong social media presence to increase class following

Qualifications:

· Love of group fitness is a must – Passion for Rowing is a STRONG plus

· CPR & AED certification required

· Coaches will be required to complete yearly CEUs provided by the Row House Education Department

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to create a high energy, positive environment that welcomes all people.

· Fantastic communication skills and that exudes energy AND empathy.

· Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals.

· Passion for having fun daily and making every customer excited to row!

· Must exude charisma & thrive in a group environment.

· Indoor rowing experience preferred but NOT required

Sanitization between classes. Potential for classes to be held at reduced capacity (increased spacing) and/or outdoors and pandemic conditions dictate.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Fitness Instruction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• fitness certification or are you working towards such (Preferred)
• CPR/AED Certification or are you working towards such (Required)
