Title District Grounds Keeper

Description Valid driver’s license, including CDL “B”

Mowing and general grounds keeping duties to include but not limited to:

Mowing

Weed trimming

Bush and landscaping trimming

Keeping sidewalks clean and edged

Pulling weeds

Spraying weeds and broadleaf weeds in grass

Other duties as assigned

Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment.

Trash pickup and outside maintenance including some sports facilities

Painting athletic fields as needed.

Ability to do light repairs and maintenance to equipment

Get and maintain pesticide license 3b and 7a

Coordinate the duties at 4 sites

Winter time snow removal, including spreading ice melt

Winter months prepare equipment for next season use.

Maintain shop equipment and tools

Computer skills required

Familiar with building maintenance a plus

Ability to lift 80 pounds, 50 pounds repetitively(salt)

Assist with bus and building repairs as needed

Self-starter with good communication skills

Team player
