Departments Hiring: Meat, Bakery, Cashiers, Freight Crew

Cashier:

- Strong Customer Service Skills

- Positive and friendly attitude

- Ability to move quickly and efficiently

- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Ability to work weekends, mornings, and nights

- Able to lift up to 50lbs

- Applicants must be at least 18 years old

The Freight Crew worker will perform all duties associated with breaking down, sorting , and stocking items from delivered loads on freight nights . Duties also include doing back-stock, facing product on the shelves, sweeping and moping the store, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, handle prolonged standing, climb ladders, bend , crouch, etc.

Qualifications:

- Work in a refrigerated environment at times

- Stock shelves

- Follow safety best practices

- Work evenings to early mornings

- Positive and friendly attitude

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Available weekends.

- Ability to work independently, as well as take direction from supervisor.

- Applicants must be at least 18 years old

Bakery Clerk

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Respond and attend to customer requests in the Bakery Dept.

· Prepare, proof, bake, decorate, and display Bakery product as directed by the Bakery Manager.

· Operate mixer, slicer, and other equipment necessary for the production of bakery products.

· Disassemble, clean, and reassemble bakery equipment as necessary.

· Maintain a clean, organized and sanitized work environment, including sales floor and preparation areas.

· Perform other related duties as directed by the Bakery Manager.

Qualifications:

· Must be 18 years of age.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Must have excellent communication skills.

· Should have basic math skills.

· Previous bakery experience preferred, but not necessary.

· Must be flexible in scheduling. May be required to work in the early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Meat Cutter

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Meat Cutter’s primary duty is to prepare and deliver the highest quality fresh meats to our customers. He or she must deliver excellent customer service, while adhering to all federal and state regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include:

· Receiving and breaking down meat loads, checking for proper quality and quantity.

· Cuts, grinds, weighs and wraps fresh meat product according to proper procedures to ensure quality and safety.

· Controls shrink and expense. Prevents the sale of out-dated or spoiled product.

· Accurately completes and monitors daily log sheets and other required paperwork and reporting logs.

· Maintains proper rotation and organization in meat cooler and meat product in freezer.

· Ensures proper merchandising of product by understanding and implementing schematics, merchandising of advertised items, proper signing procedures and monitoring product flow.

· Assists customers by locating products and filling special orders. Makes product suggestions and engages in suggestive selling.

· Complies with all federal, state, and local health, food handling, and safety regulations and standards.

· Fulfills other necessary and required duties as directed by Meat Dept. Manager.

Qualifications:

· Ability to be friendly, courteous, tactful and composed when dealing with customers and team members.

· Requires a working knowledge of all job duties within the Meat Department, including cutting, wrapping, smoking, grinding, cubing, tenderizing and others.

· Ability to communicate orally and read and follow written work assignments.

· Must have knowledge of product variety, standards, perishability, food safety, sanitation, labeling, and department policies and procedures.

· Ability to lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights of up to 80 pounds.

· Must have a working knowledge of the safe and proper operation of all equipment in the meat department, including saws, cutters, grinders, wrappers, scales, and other equipment. Must be willing to maintain, clean and sanitize all equipment.

· Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
