What you will do:

• Operate machine safely and in a manner to meet optimum efficiency
• Watch to see that different grades of lumber do not get mixed together in units
• Pull miscuts, broken lumber, and improper grades of lumber out and replace from rack
• Ensure proper piece count is in pack
• Maintain and service machine according to PMs
• Train co-workers on how to operate equipment
• Assist co-workers, as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required.
• Must be TP/SPIB Grader Certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education and Experience you will need:

• High School or GED required
• Quick learner
• Ability to learn all required duties
• Ability to follow directions
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Eligible to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Willing and able to work a 10-hour rotating schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team
• Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills
• Consistent, predictable attendance
