Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain policies/procedures, and ensure controls are in place for all treasury functions globally.
  • Coach and develop team members and foster a positive and proactive team-oriented environment.
  • Manage effective, transparent relationships with the company’s internal and external banking partners.
  • Monitor compliance with the Company’s financial covenants related to the credit facility and long-term debt.
  • Confirm and communicate daily trades with banks, international subsidiaries, and finance departments. Reconcile supporting trade documentation.
  • Create a regular cash flow forecast to ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet its operational and capital needs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate cash payments, oversees credit facility borrowings and foreign currency risk exposure hedging.
  • Manage intercompany settlement process and maintain appropriate cash balances in respective bank accounts globally while minimizing foreign currency exchange losses.
  • Provide due diligence and transaction support for mergers & acquisitions.
  • Manage integration of the treasury function for new acquisitions.
  • Lead the quarterly financial reporting tasks and responsibilities of the Treasury organization.
  • Manage daily cash activities for Canadian and Mexican subsidiaries.
  • Manage bank accounts including account opening/closing, account signer setups/removals, KYC documentation and administration of on-line banking platforms.
  • Work closely with the Tax and Legal departments on the settlement of subsidiary dividends and international repatriations.
  • Implement and maintain technology solutions to drive efficiencies in day to day cash management and banking matters.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance is preferred
  • CPA or CTP a plus
  • 10+ years of overall business experience with background in treasury
  • 5+ years of manager experience at a multinational organization
  • Confidence and ability to interact with top-level management and international associates
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP and treasury management platforms a plus
