We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Team Member to join our cafe. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality food and beverages.

This is a full-time position with a schedule that REQUIRES weekends (Friday-Saturday). The expected work schedule is no more than 40 hours per week. Scheduling flexibility is preferred to accommodate fluctuations in business needs

Weekend availability is a must for this position, as our business operates 7 days a week. Successful candidates must be available to work on both Saturdays and Sundays during normal business hours. Flexibility in scheduling is a plus, as additional hours may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a smile and take their orders accurately
• Prepare and serve food and drinks to customers' specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Manage cash and credit card transactions and provide accurate change
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the cafe
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, as needed
• Continuously strive to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Prepare ingredients and juices for the day, as well as assist others with their prep

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry (Barista, line cook, dishwasher, etc)
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
