Minnco Credit Union has an immediate opening for an energetic individual to deliver exceptional service to members as a FT Teller at their Big Lake office. Qualified candidates should be proficient with cash, practice discretion and confidentiality, and enjoy helping serve others. Flexibility with scheduling, including Saturdays, is required. Prior experience in a financial institution is preferred.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

• Performs routine member transactions with a high degree of accuracy, including verifying correct member and account.
• Manage teller drawer efficiently during shift, including balancing two times during shift and at the end of shift. Research and resolve discrepancies and report any discrepancies to supervisor as necessary.
• Ensure that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, brochures, etc. During down time, proactively roll coin, stuff envelopes, shred, do mail transactions, etc.
• Must have excellent member service skills along with strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding member transactions, weighing member satisfaction issues with the Credit Union’s exposure to loss and fraud.
• Ability to gather and analyze data to solve issues, such as, cash offages.
• Ability to accurately enter information into the computer and addition machine.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of various federal regulations that impact the teller role, preferred.
