Intro: The starting rate for this position is $18.40 - overtime required.

Position Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting, and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action, when necessary, while also adhering to food safety practices and company policies
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems
- Document and calculate results accurately
- Take corrective action when necessary
- Alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product and report results to management; any additional assignment requested
- All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in the Fresh Meats industry required or other QA type experience
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess computer skills
- Must possess identification and problem-solving skills
- Must possess Math and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications
- Must have flexibility to work where and when needed.
- Ability to work well under stress
- Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
- Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging 45-75 degrees
- Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling
- Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently
- Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends
- Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
