Washington International Pediatrics (WIP) is an intentional small pediatric office to provide exceptional and individualized care to infants and children up to the age of 22 years.

WIP is a family style office and we are currently looking for a full-time front desk/receptionist.

We seek a candidate with a welcoming personality, a love for children and who fits in to our team.

The receptionist is the first and last impression of the visit and we look for someone who can greet our patients in a friendly manner.

The job includes to check the patient in, check the insurance status, answer phones, schedule appointments, answer to all type of administrative questions.

Given our small office size, everyone helps out when need is seen adoptable to different situations.

Responsibilities:

- Answer phones/forward calls/take messages and handle patient inquiries over phone and through email

- Maintain the doctor's daily appointment book and check patients in and out

- Communicate with other medical offices to handle patient referrals

- Prepare and submit orders for lab specimen collection at the end of each workday

- Additional task varies

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
