Front Desk Receptionist at Dog Daycare

The Dog Play Spot is looking for a highly motivated individual who loves dogs AND working with people! At The Dog Play Spot, we are a busy facility offering daycare, boarding, grooming and obedience training. We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and detail-oriented team member to assist customers and perform a variety of administrative duties to keep the facility running smoothly.

- Checks in/out dogs, greets pet parents and answers any questions they may have about our services.

- Responsible for cleaning duties throughout entire day.

- Organize and label boarding dog items neatly and accurately.

- Performing temperament tests to get new customers started with daycare.

- Answering a high volume of phone calls and book appointments.

Qualifications:

- Be punctual and reliable.

- Have excellent customer service experience.

- Be comfortable learning our computer software and scheduling sites.

- Have some experience working with dogs, and be able to learn their behaviors

- Must be able to pass a background check

• Must be willing to work 10-11.5 hour shifts primarily walking and standing
• Must be able to work weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly: $10.50 to $12.00/hour

Tips awarded as received. (average additional $80-100/mo)

Spend your day interacting with dogs (who can't carry or transmit covid!)
