POSITION SUMMARY: This position is focused on leading and supporting the sales initiatives for two Extended Stay IHG hotel locations in the Eau Claire area, Candlewood Suites & Staybridge Suites. EXPECTATIONS OF THE EMPLOYEE:

  • Serve internal and external guests in a positive, professional manner
  • Follow all guidelines on confidentiality
  • Be responsible for quality, accuracy, timelines, reliability and thoroughness of work performed
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints or requests.
  • Attends assigned trade shows, local meetings, networking and community events as assigned per GM.
  • Coordinates and executes special projects as specified by the GM.
  • Follows up on all leads.
  • Works on room blocks with the management team to avoid any loss of occupancy.
  • Maintains relationship and coordinates event details with all meeting planners.
  • Designs, writes, and implements marketing plans.
  • Adheres to allocated Sales and Marketing budget per GM.
  • Sets professional weekly sales goals and meets deadlines.
  • Delegates responsibilities appropriately.
  • Responsible for increasing room revenue through prospective promotions and new business opportunities at prospect's location.
  • Responsible for the execution and distribution of promotional campaigns and advertising campaigns both within and outside our market with the assistance of the GM.
  • Conducts property site tours with prospective clients as requested.
