Job Summary:
Provides High Quality service for dining room guests. Cleans and sets up assigned tables the guests have departed. Must know menu prices, daily specials, all menu items (preparation, ingredients).
Responsibilities:
· Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision
· Promptly greets guests at the front door.
· Returns to each table periodically to ascertain whether additional items are desired.
· Remove dirty dishes and silverware, placing in proper area in kitchen.
· Prepare tables for service by wiping them clean. Setting clean silverware, linen, and glassware in proper place, and placing condiments in attractive fashion.
· Need basic knowledge of menu prices, composition of items, preparation techniques, and time of preparation. Must be familiar with daily specials and offers to guests.
· Adhere to all Health Department rules and regulations. Adhere to Maximum Hospitality and brand standards.
· Must be responsible for security of guests, fellow employees and hotel assets.
· Must have completed required brand training program.
· Must perform any other required duties as requested by the General Manager to aid in better operation of the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and service to the guests.
· Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
· Never take your Head Off!
· Immediately report any guest issues to the Manager on Duty
· Always be in clean and proper costume/uniform.
· Never eats, drinks, or smokes in guest view.
Necessary Skills:
-Ability to lead, direct and work with people.
-Must be able to communicate effectively by writing, telephone and personal meeting situations.
-Must have an outgoing, pleasant personality.
-Must be neat in appearance at all times.
-Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and Holidays.
-Must be honest and work well with others.
Physical Requirements:
-Stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment.
-Finger dexterity to type, to write, and work on a computer or micros machine.
-Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English.
-Must be able to bend, stretch arms overhead and lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
