In this role, the ideal candidate will lead the operation of our Food and Beverage program, and support the overall operation of the hotel as needed. Our dining and beverage outlet and our events at our hotel provide great exposure of our venue for receptions, meetings, training, and even reunions as well as service to our internal guests with great F&B options! Essential functions include supporting the supervision and development of the food and beverage team, successfully executing guest functions and events, ensuring food served is properly prepared, and supporting the general staffing and operation as required. You will also be supporting the rest of the team in the overall operation of the hotel.

This role will be scheduled primarily evening and weekend shifts to support the success of the F&B operation.

F&B experience is preferred, but not required.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Direct operational efforts and strategies of the hotel F&B offerings consisting of the complimentary breakfast and the bistro bar food and drink offerings.

Provide supervisory guidance and assistance for the F&B team. Work to meet financial and service targets in the department through effective scheduling, revenue generating offerings, and cost control strategies. Support the roles of the department by covering bartender, cook, and breakfast attendant shifts as needed.

Support and lead the overall operation of the hotel as needed in the Manager on Duty role.

Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
