The Staff Accountant handles general accounting tasks and monitoring the financial processes of the Auto Group. He or she ensures compliance with state, federal, and local principles, including business & regulatory licenses and sales tax returns. This person will also be involved in reconciliation/review of prepaid assets, fixed assets, bank statements, and various GL accounts. He/she must be a good communicator (verbal & written), skilled in Excel, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate’s history must include a minimum of 5 years accounting experience; an Accounting Degree is preferred, but not an absolute requirement.
