Position Summary
The financial analyst will provide analytical, forecasting, key metric, and variance analysis of the company's revenues, COGS, and expenses. The position will work closely with the executive team to provide analysis on both financial statements and as hoc sales reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to management
- Produce monthly and weekly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
- Maintain knowledge of new revenues and initiatives
- Develop models for key revenues and initiatives
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information
- Will be participating in a wide range of company projects and events
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
This is a full-time position with PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and a 401k plan.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 4-year college degree
- Previous accounting, finance, business or related field required, with purchasing a plus
- 1+ years progressive accounting experience in accounting or similar work environment
- Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting software
- Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
