Role and Responsibilities
The FACT Member will work as part of the c to fulfill the mission of the Family Allies Community Team: “We are re-imagining family-school partnership by building authentic peer support for PSOE families and bridging learning from school to home in meaningful and engaged ways.
We are fulfilling our school mission, by reaching outside of the school walls and into the wider community. Our mission: Inspire learning through an unparalleled academic approach. Transform communities by changing lives.”
The duties of the FACT Member include:
Making phone calls to school parents and families.
Meeting with school families in their home, or in community locations outside of Paramount Schools of Excellence.
Providing support for school families by sharing resources to encourage and assist families in academic success.
Working with local community partners to match resources to the needs of our families.
Attending and helping to host School Community Organization meetings.
Being an ongoing presence in our school community through attendance of sporting events, musicals, Brookside Bash and neighborhood happenings and other events in the wider community where school involvement may be beneficial.
Engaging with school families on every level, learning the needs of school families and working to support families and help them feel connected to their school.
Other tasks and duties as needed to support the Family Allies Community Team, and Paramount Schools of Excellence
Annual training and/or professional development is required for all PSOE employees. Job-specific training is identified and scheduled by the School Principal or direct supervisor in partnership with Paramount C-suite.

Duties are normally performed in a school/classroom environment. Duties may be occasionally performed on field trips away from school. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee usually works in standard classrooms, but will frequently be required to complete tasks in a wide variety of locations within the school campus. The FACT Member works a standard workweek, but additionally may work evenings, weekends, and any additional hours necessary to accommodate activities such as committees, fundraisers, public meetings, and representing the organization at public events.
