Location : Beale AFB

Experience Level: 5 - 7 Years of managing pavements/heavy equipment operations

a. Experience managing paving (Asphalt & Concrete) projects.

b. Experience managing heavy equipment operations and budgets.

c. Ability to develop pavements/heavy equipment asset management plans and coordinate requirements between the 9 CES shops and the Asset Management Plan (AMP) Manager.

d. Ability to provide pavements technical direction and support to identify and troubleshoot problems, propose countermeasures, and resolve issues.

e. Experience developing estimates using RS Means, E4Clicks, or other methods.

f. Experience with coordinating Environmental Compliance (NEPA, Permits, Hazardous materials, etc…). Facilities Systems Specialist’s will not be required to develop the compliance documents, but will provide project information to the 9 CES Environmental flight personnel.

g. Ability to obtain a “T1” favorable background investigation.

JOB DUTIES:

h. This position is considered a “Sub-AMP Manager” working and reporting within the 9 CES Operations flight.

i. The Pavements/Heavy Equipment operations Facilities Systems specialist develops pavements asset management plans, provides support to the 9 CES shops and respective AMP Manager, acquires pavements data, develops preventative maintenance plans, and supports cradle to grave portfolio capital project support.

j. Work/Coordinate with the Engineering Flight (CEN) and Environmental Flight (CEI) in managing and developing projects.

k. Coordinate warranty work with the shops, CEN, contractors, Base contracting (9 CONS), and facility users.

l. Conducts condition assessments for pavements and incorporates into the asset management plans for maintenance.

m. Coordinate maintenance for heavy equipment with the shop leads and base vehicle maintenance.

n. Coordinate work orders (Work tasks) and update status in the 9 CES work management system (TRIRIGA).
