Summary:
The incumbent will operate manual welding equipment to weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Job Terms:
Permanent, full time position.
Responsibilities:
· Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
· Assist with maintenance and repair of welding and soldering equipment
· Adjust welding heads and tooling according to work specifications, as required
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
· Ability to work independently
· Demonstrated experience in MIG/TIG welding in various positions
· Metal Fabrication experience is an asset
· Bridgeport experience is an asset
· GTAW/GMAW/FCAW/PAW/SMAW/OAW/SAW knowledge and/or certification is a definite asset
