External Sales Representative

US & British Virgin Islands / St. Marteen / St. Barts

Full-time

Company established for more than 40 years, leader in the construction industry, is looking to fill the position of External Sales Representative. Its main objective is to grow and maintain the accounts and relationships of export clients. Manage sales leads, create a sales plan, and monitor accounts receivable to ensure accounts are current.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Generate and validate sales leads and follow up with all customers

• Contact direct sales customers to get daily orders

• Answers customer calls and solves problems related to weekly shipments received on the island

• Travels to the islands to visit clients (3) weeks a month and reports to the office at least (1) week during the month

• Works closely with the Sales Manager on strategic pricing structures for clients

• Help with other assigned tasks

JOB REQUIREMENTS (minimum experience, knowledge, background)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• 3 years or more of sales experience in the islands

• Experience in sales of Steel or hardware (preferable)

• Microsoft Office skills

• Bilingual (required)

• Passport and ability to travel as needed

Benefits:

Salary: $48k
