Requirements:

· Extensive parts management experience required

· 4+ years related experience and/or training in parts, service & body shop

· A driven individual looking to establish success as an Automotive Fixed Ops director with top level management skills and an impeccable work ethic and positive attitude

· Ability to lead and leverage the best qualities of Service, Parts and Collision departments and maximize their profitability

· Mathematic Ability to set parts matrix, discounts, pricings, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.

· Advanced automotive financial and data analysis skill

· Toyota experience preferred

· Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred

· Valid Driver’s license

· Work authorization in the US

Job Responsibilities:

· Supervise and Work closely with Service, Parts and Body Shop departments with effort to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction and employee success.

· Forecast monthly/quarterly sales goals and objectives for all departments and implement and review processes regularly to meet them; conduct managers’ meetings at scheduled intervals; Review open repair orders weekly for appropriateness.

· Effectively communicate with and report to owners and executives on department performance, key decisions and general operations.

· Manage departments’ personnel functions including measuring, evaluating performance, recognizing achievements and terminations. Ensure the department managers are training and supervising employees for optimum effectiveness. Forge teamwork culture among departments.

  • Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks; Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.

· Oversee and implement inventory stocking strategies for maximum efficiency; Monitor annual physical and periodic cycle counts of parts inventory to minimize loss of parts; enforce a policy on the special ordering of parts.

· Work with executives on each departments’ cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies.

· Responsible for all proper record retention and making sure it meets company, OEM and legal requirements; Help resolve customer complaints that management has not been able to resolve; Assist with managing workers’ compensation claims.

· Develop financial reporting for clear and efficient interpretation of financial data of all aspects of fix ops departments.

· Recruit, train, coach, motivate and monitor performances of managers and key staff; Fosters professional employee development and coordinates with department managers to determine need for advanced training.

· Maintain safe work environment as well as a professional appearance.

· Establish and maintain a great working relationship with OEM reps.

· Any other tasks deemed by owner and executives.
