The Haven in Cloquet is looking for an Evening LADC!

Job Summary:

• Conduct evening groups 3-4 nights per week; times and days TBD.
• Meet with clients weekly for individual sessions, family sessions as requested.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments as scheduled.
• Ensure timeliness with initial services plan, treatment plan, weekly progress notes, group and individual session notes and discharge summary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary staffing meetings weekly.
• Work alongside peers to offer and receive support when needed.
• Obtain insurance authorizations if needed.

Essential Functions:

• Comply with MN Statute 245G requirements regarding timely paperwork and documentation.
• Work with clients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA).
• Ability to work in alignment with company values, goals, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with co-workers.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and ethical demeanor with clients and within the community while following a strict code of ethics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC); ADC-T may be considered depending on experience. Co-occurring license preferred.
• Must have or obtain 12 hours of training in co-occurring mental health problems training within six months of hire.
• Ability to successfully complete MN Dept of Human Services background study.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.

Full Time Benefits:

• This is either a full-time, benefit-eligible position, working Monday – Friday, schedule based upon group schedule. If Part time, hours TBD based upon group schedule.
