Equipment Manager – Country Club of St. Albans

The Country Club of St. Albans is a 36-hole private Country Club located just west of St. Louis County. Both golf courses are rated in the top ten in the state of Missouri. We are currently seeking a full-time Equipment Manger to maintain our golf course maintenance equipment following the retirement of our long-tenured equipment manager. St. Albans is a beautiful place to work and our shop and fleet of equipment is modern and well cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all equipment in safe and working condition
• Keep an organized and productive shop
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gasoline, diesel, and two-stroke equipment
• Keep reel mowers sharp and well-adjusted
• Assist with training operators on how to safely use equipment
• Troubleshoot various issues including electrical and hydraulic systems
• Travel the golf courses to inspect quality of cut, make repairs, and tow equipment
• Order parts and maintain inventory

Desired qualification:

• Previous experience in maintaining golf course maintenance equipment preferred
• Self- motivated with a positive attitude
• Organized and helpful
• Relevant education preferred but not necessary
• Willing to learn and teach
• Ability to move heavy objects and must be able to lift 50+ pounds

Compensation / Benefits:

This is an hourly position with competitive pay based on experience ($18-25/hr). Typical hours are from 6am-2:30pm M-F.
