Our email marketing program is growing, and we are looking for an entry level HTML email developer to join our team! This position is primarily focused on creating emails for digital marketing campaigns and ensuring quality of content and design. The ideal candidate for this position would be HTML-savvy, a problem-solver, has a sharp eye for detail, and can effectively communicate processes and recommendations to clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email
• Develop/modify email templates and existing campaigns
• Contribute to the continued modernization and evolution of the brand
• Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility
• Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content
• Proofread email copy and design, and ensure quality meets approved content, template, and data requirements
• Upload and organize email assets and follow naming conventions
• Execute email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution
• Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices
• Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues
• Perform coding and database maintenance tasks as required
• Create comprehensive documentation for process and task-related assignments
• Deliver timely and effective client communication when needed
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and adhere to new system processes

What We Need:

• Relevant email development work experience
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS
• Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development
• Experience with JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget)
• Working knowledge of SQL and AMPscript is a huge plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• An interest in Digital Marketing
