Family owned since 1971, Townline Equipment has an opening in our Service Department for an Entry Level Diesel and Assembly Mechanic at our Pittsford, Vermont store. This is a full-time mechanic and assembly position that offers a great wage, an excellent benefit package, a great work environment and the opportunity for growth.

Duties include

• Building and assembling a wide variety of Kubota tractors, construction equipment, utility vehicles, mowing equipment and hay tools
• Preparing and detailing new and used equipment for sale
• Setting up and testing a wide range of consumer, agricultural and construction implements
• Other duties as required by management (i.e. company vehicle maintenance, loading/unloading equipment, assisting with service and repairs on equipment)

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
• Knowledge of major mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems found in the type of diesel equipment we sell is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of computer systems & other relevant electronics
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Experience as an auto technician or heavy truck mechanic would work well with this position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
