Madonna High School is accepting applications for an English teacher. This is a regular full-time position located at Madonna High School in Weirton, WV. Must be qualified to teach English to 7th through 12th grade students.
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English or a relevant field, should hold a valid West Virginia teaching certification with an English endorsement or be eligible and willing to obtain such certification, have a working knowledge of teaching best practices, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate effective classroom management skills.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a deep commitment to facilitate the learning of all students and be able to work in a dynamic, collaborative, technology rich environment with fellow teachers. The ideal candidate will facilitate high student achievement, offer necessary support to students for high achievement goals, and promote the mission of Madonna High School and the Diocese of Wheeling Charleston.
