The Process Engineer reports to our Production Manager at our Chagrin Falls, Ohio manufacturing facility. Our Chagrin Falls facility manufactures 2-part adhesives and patch & seal tape for the construction, RV/Truck & Bus and other consumer markets.

This will be a 40 hour per week position.

Primary Duties:

• Understand and utilize data collected for our key processes to optimize our (OEE) Overall Equipment Effectiveness and to eliminate waste in the manufacturing/assembly and batch making process
• Understand processes and OEE data associated with key process bottlenecks
• Identify potential packaging improvements and consolidations
• Lead prioritized process improvement projects that increase process efficiency and optimize product through put

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in the summer of 2023
• Strong PC skills – Microsoft package – Excel, word, Power-point, project
• Some manufacturing experience would be a plus
• Cause & Effect thought pattern
• Comfortable working daily in manufacturing shop floor environment

Physical Environment:

The facility is 60K sqft. The manufacturing/warehouse portion of the facility is not air conditioned, while the QC lab area is temperature controlled. On occasion, you may be lifting boxes/material that range from 10-50lbs. Safety glasses and steel/composite toe shoes are required throughout the facility and specialized PPE is required in some areas of the 2-part mixing departments.
