Salary Range: $65000.00 - $100000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day client inquiries such as billing, enrollment, claims problems, and coverage questions.
- Provide day to day customer service needs for member and claim issues, investigate, and follow through to resolution.
- Strong knowledge of health insurance plans and products.
- Coordinate and complete the marketing process for new and renewal group business, including compiling census data, benefit plans, soliciting quotes, monitoring requests, corresponding with carriers, and preparing renewal proposals and presentations.
- Prepares master group files, client contact sheet, and maintains carrier plan codes and data sheet.
- Manage the implementation of new groups and renewal decisions including program set-up, coordination & management of all vendors, TPA's, Networks, PBM's, and enrollment.
- Prepare benefit grids & packets for open enrollment and attend client OE and other meetings as needed.
- Maintain documentation in the agency & document management system of documents, emails, phone calls, contracts, SPD's etc.in accordance with internal processes and procedures.
- Process membership, plan changes, contract changes with appropriate carriers; Service a book of business.
- Prepare meeting presentations and attend meetings as needed.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with clients. Proactively follow up and anticipate client needs for potential challenges.
- Preparation and review of client communication pieces.
- Manage all aspects of the RFP process.
- Maintain awareness of market conditions, changes, and current legislative issues impacting employee benefits, NJ small group and NJ Joint Insurance Funds for benefits, HIF's.
- Attends industry related continuing education training and courses.
- Coordinate client newsletters and wellness communications.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Knowledge in MS Office Suite. Good working knowledge of Word, Excel & Power point.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as an independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Minimum of two years of experience working in account services in the employee benefits industry.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Experience in level-funding, self-funding, and alternative funding strategies a plus
- Understand and analyze insurance coverage's, forms, and policies.
- Ability to discern and prioritize with clients, colleagues, and insurance carrier representatives.
- Life and Health Insurance License.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Strong attention to detail.
