Amaril Uniform Company is a wholesale supplier of personal protective equipment / clothing and accessories, based in Fridley, MN. Customer base is national and generally customer contact is by phone or email.

Production equipment staff are key to our day-to-day operations and work interdependently in a large open space. Each person is expected to regulate their time based on their daily tasks and deadlines, and support their department coworkers if needed.

Expectations

This position is full-time non-flexible: Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4:00pm CST

Location: Fridley, MN (On-Site, Non-Remote)

Experience: No formal experience is required. Ability to learn and train on embroidery equipment important, and position requires standing for periods of time. Familiarity with computers and basic typing preferred.

Benefits: PTO accrual after 1 year (365 days). 401K matching and bonuses available after 1 year (365 days). Healthcare available for FTE employees after 90 days.

Must have reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities

Þ Use of Tajima embroidery equipment to run customer-specific logos, based on digitized files.

Þ Pull product for orders and process orders.

Þ Check sizing of garments prior to customization. Check Quickbooks Order Confirmation and original order for errors prior to customizing garments. “2nd Line Of Defense”.

Þ Regulate time to ensure rush orders are processed as priority, and bulk shipping ships when requested. Assist production manager to batch work effective to maximize efficiency in production room.

Þ Assist purchasing by noting garments of low quantity on white board, when requested.

Þ Hang purchase orders produced by purchasing in warehouse. Generally a yellow, green or salmon colored paper.

Þ Assist warehouse by hanging copies of back orders in warehouse. Generally a white colored paper.

Þ Assist with samples, repairs and returns.

Þ Assist with shipping between 3:00pm-4:00pm, when requested by warehouse, which may include checking or taping boxes. Heavy lifting is not generally expected.

Þ Keep area clean and free of debris that may cause a trip or fall risk.
