The Team and the Role:
INDUS provides industrial support services across the Undersea Weapons Department (Code 30), Test and Evaluation Department (Code 20), Undersea Systems & Sustainment Department (Code 40) and Unmanned and Theater Undersea Warfare Systems Department (Code 50), of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport (NUWCDIVKPT). Requirements include providing technical support services associated with various industrial operations, depot repair activities, and torpedo intermediate maintenance functions.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Electronics Technician Maintenance (I - III) provides a variety of assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and training activities in support of programs on the NUWCDIVKPT Industrial Support Services (ISS) contract. Electronics Technician Maintenance I
- Performs preparation, assembly, disassembly, or alteration of cable wire and connectors, circuit card components, and electronic sub-assemblies.
- Operates manual test equipment and basic electronic industrial equipment.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Electronics Technician Maintenance II
- Fabricates, tests, aligns, troubleshoots, and repairs complex cable assemblies, circuit card assemblies, electronics assemblies, and test adapters using approved procedures, drawings, or schematics.
- Operates and maintains automated test equipment and complex automated industrial
equipment. - Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Electronics Technician Maintenance III
- Fabricates, tests, aligns, troubleshoots, and repairs complex circuit card assemblies, complex electronics assemblies, and electronics systems using approved procedures, drawings, or schematics.
- Programs, operates, or maintains automated test equipment and complex automated industrial equipment.
- Collaborates with engineers on project design, prototyping, and production.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Electronics Shop Test and Repair Lead and Senior Electronics Technician
- Manage their own workloads which include all of the job functions for Electronics Technician Maintenance I, II, and III, as well as provide training, obtain system access, identify job expectations, workload assignment, tracking training and qualifications, coaching, and mentoring.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
- Electronics Technician Maintenance I
- At least three (3) years of experience working with electronics test equipment.
- Electronics Technician Maintenance II
- At least five (5) years of experience working with electronics test equipment.
- Electronics Technician Maintenance III
- At least seven (7) years of experience working with electronics test equipment.
- Electronics Shop Test and Repair Lead and Senior Electronics Technician
- At least ten (10) years of experience working with electronics test equipment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $30.67 – $35.67 per hour.
