We are searching for a passionate, reliable electronics engineer to join our growing company. The electronics engineer's responsibilities include testing systems and writing up improvement plans, developing electronic products, components, and systems to satisfy Production needs, as well as creating instructional manuals. .

To be successful as an electronics engineer, you should have an aptitude for Mathematics and a passion for technology.
Electronics Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment.
  • Liaising with engineers, other professionals, as well as clients to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications.
  • Observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Developing effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
  • Writing specifications, instructions, reports

Electronics Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.
  • Practical experience.
  • Experience in design recommended.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication skills.
  • Excellent research and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime if required
  • A good foundation in electronics theory, understanding electronic schematics and mechanical drawings, components and basic circuits that will allow you to efficiently diagnose problems such as for example an incorrect component value placed by the PCB assembly house or to tune a filter in one of our acoustic receivers products.
  • Knowledge of the operation of electronic test instruments such as current limiting power supplies, oscilloscope, multi-meters, signal generator, and power, spectrum and modulation analyzers.
  • Very good electronic workmanship and attention to detail including soldering, crimping, cable assemblies, work with epoxy and other functions that you can both execute, inspect and teach to others.
  • Understanding of the electronic manufacturing process including working with multi-level BOM, gerber files for PCB manufacturing, kit assembly, pick&place lists, parts programming files and the like.
  • Understanding of the use of computers to support production including terminal programs and specialized production software to execute a test sequence, computer, COM port and cabling awareness and configuration as needed when a computer problem arises, the use of Excel to record results and make computations etc.
  • A natural teaching ability to teach and support the assembly team, and team spirit to work effortlessly with the rest of the production, engineering and QC teams.
