Job Summary

Job will entail through-hole assembly/soldering of printed circuit boards. Candidates will perform quality inspection, and perform similar manufacturing functions. This work requires very good hand / eye coordination. Candidates must also have strong attention to detail as they will be responsible for following specific work instructions :

• Printed Circuit Board Assembly
• Light Mechanical Assembly
• Other production activities as required

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform hand soldering of Through Hole components.
• Perform rework on boards that need to have components removed and replaced
• Compare components in kit to parts list for assembly and determine completeness of kit and identify errors in Bill of Materials.
• Follow procedures, policies and drawings for accuracy and product quality
• Work with production team to determine solutions for problems that occur during production process.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School graduate or GED
• Ability to do repetitive operations.
• Excellent manual dexterity.
• Accurate and detail oriented.
• Ability to use soldering iron and other electronic assembly tools.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work with small parts and materials
• Self motivated
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Strong work ethic.
• Conscientious and cooperative team player attitude.
• Write legibly to record production and verification activities.

Job Type: Full-time

9:30am-6:00pm M-F

Experience:

• assembly: 2 years (Preferred)

• High school or equivalent (Required)
