Description:

We are currently hiring for an Electrical Technician to join our team in Warrenville. You will have the opportunity to join a growing company, with great culture, benefits, and be trained on building and assembly electrical components for specialized industrial machinery.

This position is for a Electrical Technician where individuals will work from schematics and need to be able to identify electrical symbols. They will build cabinets and panels, wiring everything up to specification. Once all is built, they will need to troubleshoot circuits and ensure all is functioning properly.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical symbols and wiring schematics
  • Ability to troubleshoot power circuits and cabling for electrical components & sensors with voltmeter, ohmmeter, etc.
  • Utilize bill of materials to identify and locate project components
  • Confidence in using hand tools, wire cutters, strippers and other equipment (power tools) as needed

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ year or more of experience in a Electrical Technician, Panel Building or other similar electrical roles
  • Ability to use hand and power tools,
  • Ability to read schematics and electrical symbols

Work Environment/Shift:

1st Shift: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Occasional saturdays are required. Overtime including saturdays is based on business need

The facility is a very clean, modern, air conditioned shop with new equipment & machinery.

They have an electrical controls department that does all of the wiring 

They have a full blown machine shop

Description:

This position is for a MIG Welder in a job shop fabrication facility. Candidates will be responsible for gathering their materials, steel, blueprints, work orders and perform MIG welds with good visual quality to ensure they meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include

  • Ability to set up a MIG welding machine
  • Read and interpret blueprints or job orders to determine specifications of the job
  • Perform Layouts which will be sheet metal, tubing and other forms of mild steel
  • Use grinders, saws, polishers, hand tools, power tools or anything else necessary to prepare the job
  • Maintain and keep a clean work environment

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a MIG welder with the ability to fabricate in a job shop environment
  • Experience with steel or mild steel, material ranging from 1/16” up to ½”
  • Ability to read blueprints

Work Environment/Shift

1st Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm M-F

Overtime will be worked after the shift until 4:30 PM. Any hours worked after 8 hours per day is considered overtime. Overtimes is based on business need

Metal Fabrication Environment

Must Wear Steel Toed Boots (All other PPE is provided)
